Former Penn State head coach Joe Paterno taken off life support

Former head coach of Penn State Football Joe Paterno was taken off life support this morning following hospitalization on January 13th for cancer treatment complications.

The family was called into the hospital this afternoon. Joe Paterno was diagnosed with cancer back in November, just days after his firing from Penn State amidst charges of sexual abuse by Jerry Sandusky.
