Despite nostalgic ties with Torrey Pines, Tiger Woods has decided to skip the tournament to appear and participate in the Abu Dhabi golf championship this week with a promise of $3M to appear.
Despite 2012 being the comeback year for Woods, he has only agreed to two tournaments this year (the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM in February).
